The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation is a working group of individuals, businesses, foundations, and community organizations committed to providing private financial support for the public schools of La Cañada Flintridge. The Foundation was incorporated as an independent tax-exempt corporation in 1978 to preserve and enhance the community's high quality educational system in the wake of judicial decisions and legislative mandates that directly impacted the financial base of local public education. La Cañada Flintridge was one of the first communities in the nation to form a foundation to support its local public schools.
